phlyster,
I see questions asked in this forum every week. Maybe you need to go back and check the archive`s.I`ve been at the fly fishing game for 30+yrs.and I still don`t know it all.I`m not one of the new "era" with the fly Casting "chip" programed in,I guess.

noone,,, I thought it was none...

Riverman -

Didn't you know that only the beginners & poor performers consider improving their casting? I hear that some even practice regularly and take lessons!

Even in golf. They say that half-a@# shanker Tiger Woods practices daily and even has a full-time coach. But if you're good, you don't need that stuff.

I didn't know you could get a fly casting chip. How much are they ? I need a wadeing chip also and a improved eyesight chip.

Man am I glad that I was wearing my CHEST high waders, and that all the seams are good and tight, seems like the bacteria count is super high. I thought the Natural was a movie with robt. redford in it. Oh well, back to my Lefty Kreh videos.

I thought my "chip" would get me through last weekend at the FlyMasters. My chip only allows me 81 feet! Can I get a longer "chip"?

Wait just a minute here! How come you got 81 and I only got 80. I want a refund on my chip and the alter-ego upgrade http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/wink.gif Next year brother Next year.

physter:

Since you obviously seem to have "so much knowledge" and "skills" in fly casting, and fly fishing why don't you stop bragging about them and use them for good- not evil. HEHEHE! Go teach some kid the sport! You are only as good as you prove yourself. Please stop your bragging, it only makes you look like a child. I would know, I have ran into trouble on other sites for exposing my skills a bit too much. Other than that, hope to meet you some day: you sound like a very 'interesteing', to say the least, person!

How about a top ten list of copouts for not being a better caster. I'll start:

1. 90% of the fish caught are no more than 40 feet away

2. Most people who are good casters don't know how to fish. "I may not be able to cast very well but I do catch fish."

3. Why should I learn how to cast when I can get on message boards and act like I do.

4. Cast?! I'm a trout fisherman, I don't need to know how to cast!

6) All I can afford is a cheap rod. My casting will improve as soon as I buy that new fastest action, IM22/titanium/boron/kryponite from (fill in the blank)marketing, I mean rod, company

#10--My backing on my reel is old and im afraid if I cast out all my line I might loose a 30" brown when he hits my streamer. http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/smile.gif
