I just started a Trout Fishing Guide Service.
I have a website to promote it.
These are some of the comments I have gotten on my site:
Loads too slow...
cluttered...
people want immediate gratification..
Love your page...
you are losing clients because of slow load..
I go back weekly to see your new photos...
Can't wait to see your new opener photos...
If you can afford a guide..you can afford a good/fast computer...
Input please?

The loading is a big problem and, at least on my computer the pictures jump a bit when I scroll through them. The cause of this is your pictures are gigantic size wise for a web page. That picture titled, "Sometimes A Photo Says It All," is only 72 dpi which is good, but the size is 17.78 inches wide, and 13.33 inches tall. The picture is over 3600k in size where it, for a web page, ought to be no larger than 500k. For a web page you ought to decrease the inch size to 6x4 inches. Also another thing that would help with loading is to have one title page and then links to other pages of different catagories, like Guide service -Photos- Links-etc.

Spinner,
Stardaddy is right, your photos are too big.
I just sent you a copy of one of your photos that I reduced using Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0. The original was over 300k and the new one is about 36k. Good luck!

Oh, didn't realize it wasn't the front page.
It was slow this a.m. at work, but just now, it pulled up in about 8 seconds.

Good job Spinner.. looks like you fixed the picture problem.
Here is a tip for all guides when doing a web site:
If you wanna book trips, you need an information request form (or at least an email link) that is VERY EASY to find... geeks like me would much rather fill out a form or email someone then use that strange talky thingy some call a "phone" http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/smile.gif
And check and answer your email every day, if you don't you'll lose customers. (if only I could take my own advice http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/smile.gif
