as addicted to Pinewood Derby racing as I've become? For 5 years my oldest boy's cars would just be middle of the pack. Finally did the homework and worked for 6 weeks to get the youngest boy's car just so....and he won 1st Place in his age division at Pack, 4th in district! Would have placed better at District if I'd been there to prep the car right, but I had another obligation.
