I remeber those great times w/ my son & his friends. Got to visit Rabun Co General Hosp ER when he slipped on wet step at rifle range at Rainy Mtn & I thought he had split his skull open. They x-rayed & found nothing. Went on to make Eagle & his Dad proud. Our greatest trip was a week at high adventure camp in the Keys. Highly recommend.

Josh - I am the troop's fly fishing merit badge counselor, and the council has been fortunate to get a lot of support from TU andd Foothills Flyfishing teaching FFMB at camporees, etc. A year or so back, a few of the good folks at NGTO donated some old fly rods and reels they didn't need anymore, some line, flies, etc., that really helped me get the program off the ground. It's really cool to watch a kid catch his first fish on the fly....all of them seem to really take an avid interest in it.
Clarkesville- kudos on your son's eagle.
He did a lot of work for it, but behind every eagle scout, there's some proud parents who supported him on the long hard path from Tenderfoot.
I think it will be my proudest moment ever when my boy's hopefully earn theirs.

Outstanding, BK! It's an old cliche, but it's true -
No man ever stands so tall as when he stoops to help a child.
