Where do babies come from? - updated for today

SON: Daddy, how was I born?

DAD: Ah, very well, my son, one day you need to find out anyway! Mom and Dad got together in a chat room on MSN. Dad set up a date via e-mail with your mom and we met at a cybercafe. We snuck into a secluded room, and then your mother downloaded from dad's memory stick. As soon as dad was ready for an upload, it was discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall. Since it was too late to hit the delete button, nine months later the blessed virus appeared. And that's the story.

You young guys aren't going to believe this but I swear it is true. In 1950 at Parris Island my best buddy at the time shared a double bunk with me....he in the upper. After "lights out", I hear this whisper...Tommy, Tommy. I answered, "Yeah?". "I have a question. Where do babies come from?"
"Are you kidding me?", I asked. "No, where do they come from? How do you make a baby?"
Not being the most worldly red neck kid in the world, I did my best to answer. It was a different world back then!

These stories are priceless and to quote a recent news article, "When someone from the previous generations dies, it's like a library burning down!"

The way of life you grew up in will never be again. Your life experiences were far removed from most of ours and I'd make a serious wager that there are plenty of us who'd like to read about real storys from real people with storys that can't be told once your gone!
