Yassuh, that BLUE brassie wire with silver wire rib, and BLUE Lite Brite Black Rainbow dubbing makes for a handsome BLUE copper John with olive biot tail and pearl tinsel wingcase dressed upon a #14 TMC 2487 with tungsten beadhead.
Great BLUE herons were a nice addition to my 2¾ hours at Jones Bridge this Sunday.
Don't tell anybody else about BLUE nymphs, ’cuz you may start something! Two ’bows and two browns liked the BLUE copper John. Can't wait to try BLUE out again in clearer water under BLUE skies.
Cheers,

Cobalt John, prolly so. I was pattin’ my foot in dingy water when the trout bit, so I guess it was "the BLUES in muddy waters". Rainbows and browns added color to the scene. Ah can jes heah that ole harmonica now ... doo wah ...

Rob at the shop owns a series of flies that has been deemed the 'Berry' series. Hes got one that he calls the "Blue Berry". Give him a call and have him tie some up for you before Umpqua picks up the fly. Umpqua just picked up the whole series!

Several years ago Blue Boogers were a big hit on the Tuck. I had a fellow explain that there was something about blue that fish were able to see better than other colors. Hogwash?- maybe, but the blue booger did produce.

One of the guys in our TU chapter ties a blue Island Park Special that has been deadly on the Tuck.

I haven't got a cofirmation yet from Umpqua, so lets tie up those horses. The funny thing is that the "Blueberry" was the only one in the series that they did not seem interested in.

Blue Tellico nymphs work really well and also a Royal Wulf with a blue band instead of the red.

Endless, you a Moody??!! You are a class act! Every Good Boy Deserves Favor, an album I got as an Xmas gift before heading out to the exciting Orient in 1970. Been Moody ever since!!
Now maybe the next post will be about fly fishing.
Thanx, Fish Hawk, for your indulgence! http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/wink.gif
