FYI, "O'Neill Outside" will feature a fishing trip to the Chestatee River and Frog Hollow Lodge. O'Neill fishes with David Hulsey from Unicoi Outfitters and does a pretty good job with a fly rod. The show is scheduled to air Sunday, January 16th on Fox Sports South at 8:25 AM.

We filmed an entire show with O'Neill. I have no clue why the air time is 8:25 AM. Haven't spoken with Chad about the show in Atlanta. If he's in town, I'm sure he'll be by at some time during the weekend. I'll tell him you asked about him.

Thanks, Jimmy. Whether or not he remembers meeting me or not I'm not so sure, but I'd love to speak with him about some of his recent fishing adventures and let him know how much my mother appreciates his book on Teens.

I didn't know this when I met him, but my mother had recently hired him as a public speaker at her school. He came and talked to some of her students about succeeding. It's a small world after all... ;)

I was channel surfing (what I do well) and ran across O'Neil flyfishing and thought I'd watch. Didn't know that the section of the Chestatee he was catching those monsters on was compliments of Unicoi Outfitters, until the end of the show. Tried to get the wife to watch and give her an idea for my anniversary/birthday/Christmas/anyotheroccasion...what beautiful fish! Someday, Jimmy, someday.......

Could you let us know about the DVD. Is there more footage on the DVD than was on the broadcast? I was able to watch the show early this morning in Florida on the Sunshine Network via Dishnetwork. The actual footage of fishing was great, but they barely showed them fishing for only the briefest moments between commercials.

If the DVD has more fishing and less or no commercials, I'd like to try and purchase a copy from O'Neill's site.

Correction: I went back this afternoon and looked at the program on our DVR and it had more footage with them fishing than I recalled early this morning. I may have blinked a bit longer than realized while watching it so early :).
