How is the Hootch fishing?

Howdy Jimmy,

My wife and I are planning a possible last minute trip to the area and possibly over to the RR in Dillard. I am trying to figure out whether or not a visit to Helen would be in order. My decision being based upon how fishing is going this week. It appears you folks have had a few cooler days early this week with it warming slightly toward the coming weekend. My hope is that the warming trend would be enbought to trigger some better fishing conditions.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts or suggestions.

By the way I contacted O'Neill and they are planning or considering whether to make the DVD available for purchase. They said they would keep my contact information and notify me if and when it is available. If anyone else is interested I believe they will do the same for them.

Hi Mike.

The Chattahoochee in Helen should be good this weekend. Predicting some showers which should give a little color to the water. If you're planning on going to the Rabun Rendezvous on Saturday, you really should consider hitting the Chattooga DH. Just in case you didn't get a copy of the newsletter we emailed last night, I'll send you another copy. We mention both the Chattahoochee and the Chattooga. See you Saturday night.
