Terrapin Creek cleanup

This actually isn't NGTO-sponsored project (yet) but I thought it fit this forum better than any other:

Terrapin Creek cleanup is set for April 2 at 8:30am. Meet at Terrapin Outdoor Ctr, trash bags and gloves will be provided. The clean-up will start at this point and continue to the bridge at Hwy 9 at Ellisville. Trash containers will be in place to dump the trash at the pull off at the bridge.

Hey thanks for posting that. I really hadn't thought there would be much interest on NGTO, so I didn't submit anything. I'm told that there are more than a few Georgia folks that come over occasionally fish Terrapin. We certainly hope for a good turnout - I've contacted several groups including Friends of Terrapin Creek, Little River Canyon Field School, Cherokee County Schools. Please join us if you are free April 2nd!

Thanks again for mentioning our clean-up day on Terrapin Creek. Too bad if you can't make it - would like to have met you. We will surely meet up on the creek soon. Actually I am still interested in visiting one of your TU meetings - your chapter would be the one I would be most likely to join. Remind any of your neighbors in Cherokee county that might be interested in our clean-up!
