Those of you at the Frostbite may remember that I relayed to you that about 20 minutes after I left home to go to the Frostbite, UPS showed up at my house with a new pair of waders from my dad for my birthday.
So, the new waders are Cabela's Guide Tech Dry Plus breathable stockingfoot waders. These look great!! They have the removable chest pack on them.
My question is if anyone else has tried these waders before, or what experiences have you had with the Cabela's Dry-Plus system? I've not tried these yet, but was just curious. I've included a link to the Cabela's site.
Thanks!

i have some dry plus II's that im about to throw out. they've been great for about 4 seasons. but now they're finally starting to leak along the seams. my dad also had a pair but his started leaking badly after about 1 1/2 seasons.

I'm about to buy a pair myself. I have some birthday money for Cableas and have been wanting to get some breathables. I love my Simms Neoprenes but can't bring myself to shell out those duckies for their breathables.

I hope this is a good purchace!

ARE YOU GETTING THE BOOTFOOT OR THE STOCKING FOOT, ANYONE, WHAT ARE THE PROS/CONS TO EITHER?

I have the stocking foot. Personally, I prefer them because I have a couple different boots I can switch between, and the stocking foots roll up and fit in my duffel bag better.
Still haven't put these babies in the water. I was tempted to go stand in the storm on Monday night with them on. Am I sick? I think I may be fevered. . .

When I got my last pair of new waders, between rains, work, kids I wasn't able to go fishing for a few weeks. So I actually went to my inlaws and stood in their pool, just to make sure they worked. :) Don't feel bad I think we've all been there at some time in some sort of fashion.
