Hey T. Flyer,
I saw your post about the Paddle Pushers and went to the web site. Do those
things really work? I hate using flippers in ponds and going backwards all the time. With the Paddle Pusher it looks like you "walk" with them on while in the water and go forwards. Is this right? Let me know as I may be buying a pair or two.
Thanks,

Kim,
I have tried both and the Paddle Pushers are my choice.
I have used them in lakes and ponds primarily for stalking Largemouth. It's incredable how close you can get to them without spooking them. It's like having a trolling motor with auto pilot.
They allow you to kick with bent knees in the sitting position in the tube. The hinged paddle folds next to your ankle on the forward kick or stride and flips out on the back stroke or propelling stride to move you forward. After about 15 minutes it's about as natural as walking.
They will not propel you as fast as flippers but I'm not in a hurry when I'm chunkin and a winding anyhow.
Much safer than flippers for getting in and out of the water and when walking through rocks and mud.
Give 'em a try...I'm sure that you'll be glad you did.
I'd get the XL size so they fit over your wading boots.
Let me know if you get some how they work for you.
T.

I am ordering a pair today. Curiosity has the better of me + I really hate going backwards when I use flippers. I will let you know when i get them and try them out.
Thanks!
