I just started two new rods. The first is a 7'9' 3 wt Forecast blank and the second is that 10' 4wt Rainshadow blank. I completed both the handles and reel seats. I will begin the work on the quides tonight. I went with a full wells and 1" fighting butt on the 10' and a one piece cork handle/reelseat on the 7'9'. I don't think I am going to do anything fancy in the way of wraps this trip. I will let you know how they come out; hope to fish one or both this weekend.
