I ordered one of the MTI Angler PFDs from Go With the Flow in Roswell.
It arrived the other day and I must say it is the finest fishing PFD that I have seen.

The link below shows the std model; I paid a few bucks moreand ordered the angler pro which is cordura and sand colored.

this is a full bore whitewater type III CG approved PFD. not only that it is low profile , good looking and a fully functional fishing vest.

This will be PERFECT for wading buford dam to Hwy 20 and its comfy enough to use as a fishing vest wading anywhere and you get an added measure of safety. I fish from a canoe often and like to mix whitewater paddling with fishing so it fits the bill perfectly.

Couldn't tell from the picture. But what is the flotation material is it foam?

Standard waterproof foam internals for type III PFDs.

Actually it is only slightly bulkier than my orvis vest...

I can get a large flybox as well as two other smaller ones in it along with all my other stuff.

This Patagonia is a great piece. But, at a little more than twice the cost of the MTI, a little pricy. But, as with most all their stuff, it's probably quality.
