I was thinking of purchasing a 9' 4wt blank. Does anyone have any feedback on these or other Pac Bay blanks.

I built a 7'6" 4wt 4pc for an angler. I was very pleased with the quality of the blank's straightness, ferrule fit and finish. I personally liked the action, moderate-fast, but that is a personal choice.

The Rainshadow series is intended as an OEM source for companies building private label rods. They seem to have a strong following with the small, low volume production commercial builders who want a quality blank at a price point that allows them to build finished rods targeted for the mid-range price market.

Very nice blanks, as are everything in the Pac Bay line. If you're looking for a smooth, mod/fast action rod, I think you'll be pleased.
