For Sale_ (1) near new condition 1495DA. No edge rash, dents, dings, etc. No wear or signs of being used. This reel was manufactured in USA from1966 to about 1980. Overall dia._ 3.62", spool dia._ 3.06, spool width_ 0.95, weight 6.1 ozs. Advertised line capacity up to WF8 with 75 yds backing. I'll be happy to set it up for either LH or RH retrieve.
Some would refer to this reel as vintage or antique; it certainly is traditional and looks and feels "right" on a bamboo rod. Sure, you can buy a 1495 new for about $25, if you don't mind (made in CHINA) and less attention to detail and finish.
