Tuesday, May 24, 2005 - Jeff Durniak of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources will be speaking about mentoring. Jack Tuttle will the chef for the evening preparing Chicken and Sausage Gumbo. Come early and hang out with Jack while he cooks! Maybe he’ll share a little New Orleans cooking secrets ;)
The Tailwater Chapter of Trout Unlimited (http://www.freakbox.com/tailwatertu/) meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Buford Trout Hatchery. Eatin' at 6:30pm, meetin' at 7:30pm.
Directions to the Hatchery:
From GA 400 take Hwy. 20 East towards Buford. Turn left into the Chattahoochee River Club subdivision main entrance (Club Drive). Turn Right at the 4th street (Trout Place). Go down the hill through the gate, bear right at the headquarters building and the meeting will be in the large maintenance building.
From I-985 take the Highway 20 exit towards Buford. Cross Buford Highway, then Peachtree Ind. Go about six miles and look for River Club Dr. on your right (this is about a mile after you cross the river). Turn right, drive to Trout Place Rd. Take a right, go down the hill through the gates. The maintenance building is to the right.
