XT-51 blanks

I was wondering if any of you had built a rod from one of these blanks. The kits are 40% off now at H&H and I was thinking of getting one.

Despite the fact that the thread is three years old, the blanks worked well enough to let him develop into a FFF Certified casting instructor.
