I'm in the market for some new breathable waders. I must keep the cost under $150. With that in mind, here are the waders I'm looking at:

Simms Freestone (http://www.simmsfishing.com/za/SIM?PAGE=PRODUCT_DETAILS&CAT=waders&PROD.ID=14442)

Simms Freestone Travel (http://www.simmsfishing.com/za/SIM?PAGE=PRODUCT_DETAILS&CAT=waders&PROD.ID=40962)

Hodgman Wadelite I (http://www.hodgman.com/pages/catalogcurrent/waders-hipboots/waders-hipbootsFS.html)

Cabela's River Guide (http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/pod/vertical-pod3.jhtml?id=0030554&navAction=push&navCount=1&indexId=cat350005&parentId=cat350005&parentType=index&rid=&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fcatalog%2Fpod-link.jhtml_A&_DAV=MainCatcat20431)

I would go with Simms, but looking at their size chart, I don't think they would fit well. However, I haven't tried them on yet.

I would like to hear from anyone who has any experience with the above. (Opinions are welcome too.)
Also, I been looking at the breathables that are around $100 or less. How do these hold up?

I had a pair of the Hogeman lightweights that I used for 4 years before they started to leak. They fit well and kept me dry for the time I had 'em, but are much hotter in the summer than my new Simms guide models. Of course at $200 dollars less than the Simms, that wasn't a serious problem. I finally went with the Simms because they are much more resistant to thorn and hook punctures and as I said, much cooler.
