The Rabun Chapter voted to write our Congressional delegation expressing our opposition to the construction of an Interstate Highway through NE Georgia. Our opposition is being expressed in terms of the potential impact it would have on the cold water fisheries in the watersheds such a project would cross. Other reasons for opposing such an undertaking are left to individual members.
