like a lot of quality fish were caught according to the chat on the van ride back. Caught a pig bow on 3 at 3PM but that was it for the day. Where you the guys headed for 1?

Ya that was us.. I think I headed up first and Brandon was behind me.. Saw lots of big fish in the pools, but caught mine away from those locations. The van was kinda crowded was'nt it??

Ya, I was the Chinese dude in the big hat (no jokes lol). I caught 22 inches.... if you add together all of the hand-sized fish I caught ;) I turned fish using a big streamer, but didn't hook into anything. I switched to smaller nymphs and caught dinks. The last time I fished it was in the mid 90's. I forgot how much the required technique is more like cane pole fishing. I should have brought my 6-1/2 foot instead of the 8 foot.... so I could get out more than 4 inches of line. With no room to cast or mend a line, I think the best flies would be tied on 1/4 oz jig heads ;)
