Tallulah report

Got to get away from the house for a few hours, and decided to hit the Tallulah. C & R around 20 mostly stockers with a few wild bows in the mix, and one nice 14" bow. All were caught on a yellow island park special with a 16 bhprince dropper tied with orange goose biots and red thread. The fish were every where, if it looked like a good run it had at least 1 or 2 in it. One pool gave up 7. The bait fishermen were not fairing so well with most only catching 2 or 3. What an awesome day fly fishin

I cut my teeth on that river (literally.) I was 3. I still love fishing it when I can despite what it is. I overlook it because its a gorgeous area and river. Glad to hear you had a good day, Lurch!
