Would someone please post a pic of a Y2K with some tying instructions. I keep reading about this fly but I can't search up a picture, etc. Thanks

Here's one approach:
http://freespace.virgin.net/british.classic/nymphs-YK2.jpg
1. Size 12 or 14 curved hook, scud style or similar
2. Small brass bead
3. Red thread (or match the egg yarn).
4. Wapsi egg yarn. I lke to use two colors - chartreuse and yellow or peach and yelllow.
5. Slip on the bead, tie in a small thread base.
6. Cut a small length of each yarn color and divide lengthwise. I like to use about three to four inches at a time. That's enough for several flies.
7. Tie in a clump of yarn just behind the bead. Leave a tag end a bit longer than the fly sticking over the front, and whatever remains from the original length.
8. Repeat with the second color on the other side (or repeat with same color).
9. Fold the yarn back on itself and wrap a small belt of thread as in the photo. Finish and tie off the thread.
10. Hold the yarn and cut off the excess so tha the entire fly is not much longer than the hook.
And that's it. The hardest part of this fly is slippping on the small bead.
