Tentwing's Pink Harlot
Materials List
Hook: Targus 300
Thread: 6/0 Pink
Tail: Hot Pink Marabou
Body: Iridescent Glass Beads-- Killer Caddis or Walmart
Head: Spirit River Brass or Hot Pink Bead
Special Notes
This fly works best on the dead drift near but not on the bottom in faster water.
It will work well against stockers in slower water drifts about mid-level.
After the drift let it make the swing you will have some take as the line is making the swing.
70% of your fish will come on the deadrift.
From the Tier
The Pink Harlot is the crown jewel in what my friend Joe calls "Tentwing's
Flash-n-Trash Streamer Series". I first used the Pink Harlot to catch trout in April 1994 on the Nantahala. Prior to that it was just my number one Crappie/Bream/Bass fly.
