Anyone in here make their own lures? I'm not talking tying flies as I know many here do :)

In particular I am interested in in-line spinners. There is one particular body style I am looking for and am having a hard time finding it (may be a body particular to a certain manufacturer). It is bullet shaped and about 1" in length with a round end (near hook) and a small fin near the front. I believe the small fin is used to balance the spinner and keep it down so the spinner moves through the water without any eratic action.

Where do you get your materials from? I have tried searching using google and found several vendors but none carry this body style.

I've purchased spinner blades for some of my fly tying from this company. I'm not sure what part you're looking for but they have a lot of stuff in their catalog you might want to check out... here's the link:

I don't have a link, nor am I sure they have those spinner bodies w/keel. Maybe our bro from Wisconsin will weigh in.

And they don't have spinner bodies w/keel.
