For the folks there that we mentioned the club trips and clinics too, I wanted to provide an update.
For members, and potential members the group trip will be a wading trip at Palisades.
Look out for the guys in the AFFC hats and we will see you at the boat ramp at Palisades at 8:30
Also, some folks will be bringing tubes and doing a float.

As far as the fishing/casting clinic. This will be moved this month to the 3rd Sat of the month ( Nov 19th). Mark and I mentioned this at the end of the DH Clinic at the Fling. And if you are interested, make sure you are a AFFC member, and if you dont have a wading belt we wont be able to take you into the water! ( safety first!)

Thanks,

Any AFFC members that are readin this, pls let Mark or I know if you are attending. We are trying to get a good headcount for this in order to insure we have enough instructors for folks.
Either email us, post etc.
Thanks!

with the weather change, fishing could be even hotter than its been lately
( well, now it feels like trout fishing weather.)

Sean-

As you can probably tell, this forum isn’t really used much for intra-club communication, though quite a few AFFC members also frequent NGTO.

The club website is this:

http://atlantaflyfishingclub.org/

We meet the second Wednesday of every month at Manuel’s Tavern in Atlanta. It’s a big club, with members ranging from neophytes to seasoned experts, like NGTO. There’s beer:cheers: , food, fish stories, presentations, raffles, etc.

We also have club trips, ranging from local outings on the Chattahoochee, to groups flying out west and elsewhere. The next one is a camping trip to Tennessee in November.

If you come check out a meeting, you’ll find we’re a pretty friendly bunch. You’re welcome to kick the tires for a meeting or two before deciding whether to pay the $15 annual dues. I’ll be the guy with a nametag that says “MILTON”.
