Hit the water at about 10:45. Started just after the concrete handicapped fishing area. Constant light swarm of tiny bugs. Could not tell what type. Water was very cold and the weather was great.
12 total, 3 at 13". Most on a 16 or 18 prince BH nymph, dropped behind a large stone fly. Yellow and light brown stone fly patterns landed a couple.
At the end, a couple were taken on a Y2K. lots of hook-ups but only 12 to hand..... oh well, your going to put'em back anyway.
My friend landed 5, again the prince seemed to rule, :D
Drop'em off something heavy and get them down fast.
Take advantage of some of the tail outs on the slow pools.
With all the pine straw on the rocks the river bed will play tricks on your eyes.
Be careful and carry a wading staff.
