Just to let everyone know, the thief was caught. I read about it on the Southern Flyfishing Board. Supposedly this guy was hitting a number of shops and did a lot of talking while in the shop about the places he fished. With the help of other board members that kept a look out, he was found.

As usual, the perp was not the smartest kid on the block.

Anyone who would steal a fishing rod is lower than a snakes belly in a wagon wheel rut. Lower than whale crap at the deepest depth in the ocean.

Steal my fly rod and see what happens.

Don't mess with a man's fly rod, or anything else for that matter. Yeah, there's plenty to be picked up along the banks of the hooch. I'm glad to know the situation was rectified. Kudos to those involved with the situation.
