Fished the DH on Friday for about 6 hours and did very well. I landed 41 and lost probably a dozen more. No fish over 12 inches which was surprising, but the amount of fish in there was crazy. I got most on a small soft hackle pheasant tail, a handful on a y2k, and the best part, 15 fish on a small adams. I found a pod of smaller (9-11 inch) brookies in smooth shallow water and hammered them on top. All in all a great day on one of my favorite streams and only saw 2 other fisherman all day. Water temp was 39, and the air temp got into the mid 50's by 2 or 3. Anyone know if these fish were just stocked?
