Anyone know anything about the River resort? Is the fishing any good there?

If there are trout in that section will be very marginal. The wifey and I took a drive through tour last fall to see if we might like to consider a RV lot there, but it's just not my cup of tea.

A buddy and I use to catch lots of trout in Ellijay at the park many, many moons ago. It is year-round so we did a lot of winter fishing there and on the Carteycay. I don't how many times on a Sunday morning some old-timer would stop to warn us that "the season closed Labor Day".
