anyone fished Tallulah lately???

i was thinking about coming up sat. just wondering if anyone has had any luck up there. i was there in nov. and caught 6 or 7.

If you call a couple weeks ago lately, I have. Plenty of fish in the river mostly below the first two bridges. Caught several on glow-balls and on Panther-Martins with my UL. Not much time for fishing for me lately since I try to get all my chores down on Saturdays to get my karma straight and kielbassa cooked for football on Sundays. The playoffs started for me and other Steeler fans a month ago when we were playing to just get in. Have fun and good luck!

Went on Friday the 6th- caught limit on panther martin in couple of hours-stockers from Christmas I reckon- had a good time-grandson caught five and he doesnt fish much

it's a 2 1/2 drive for me. when i went to bed on friday night it i watched the weather and it looked like it was gonna rain all day sat. as it turned out it would have been perfect. mother hen really didn't want me up there by myself either. my fishin buddy couldn't go.
early forcast doesn't look bad for this weekend. especially saturday.

I may be able to head up to the Tallulah Saturday. I'll be at my cabin near Blairsville. I won't know whether I can go until I see how much work I have done in the basement, which we are finishing. I'll be out of reach by e-mail, but if you like, you can call me there Thursday evening (706-835-2373). I should know by then whether I can go.

Fished Saturday for a few hours. Water temp was 48, light rain and mist.
Water was up pretty good but not stained. Made for some great fishing with nymphs/streamers. Most on olive green flash bugger & rubber legged PT.
Fished below Tate City- 2nd & 3rd Campground areas

must be nice to have a place up there! that's a big dream of mine to one day have a little place in the mtns to spend the weekend. if the warden lets me head up that way i'll give you a call
