This little beauty came out of the creek in my backyard. I live in Ashford park, so I think it is a tributary of either Nancy Creek or Peachtree Creek- in the headwaters, above the Capital City Club Pond.

Ok, we need to add a little truth to this post. Heres the first trout I ever caught on a fly rod. It was a 11-12" brookie caught on a black flash bugger in the Chattooga right in front of the Dicks creek falls. One of the prettiest fish I ever caught!

Well I left my camera back at camp so when I caught this brook I put it on the stringer put it back int the water and ran back to camp to get my camera then came back took this pic really quick and released him. So dont be sad! :D

Hey- no shame in the stringer. Brookies are yummy. Just fry up 3-4 little 6- inchers, heck you don't even have to take out the bones, and put 'em between two pieces of white bread. Mmmmmmmmm....... native brookie sandwich........
