Ami Tomorrow / Friday AM 2/10?

So what do you Ami regulars think it will be fishing like tomorrow? I know that sucker is gonna be COLD! :eek: Me and three flychucker buds will be hitting it about 9:30.

20 degrees up here this morning... and clouds building today... i wouldnt rush to get up to the Ami... personally, i wouldnt go at all... but wait for a warmer, sunnier day... but sometimes you're given a day to go and have to go with it.

It is 15 degree's outside up here on the Cartecay, Everything is crispy white, left over snow & thick thick frost, thank god FlyFishRob called and said he could'nt make it at 8am this morning ! :eek:
Hopefully it will warm up a degree or three by the time he gets here in afew hours :cross:

But i'd watch a fly fishing show that I have Tivo'd before I'd hit the Ami today. That is an exercise in futility today.

BTW...Path...have you crossed it today? what does it look like?

Dan... crossed it on weds and it was the usual slightly stained color... not quite optimal flow or temp conditions, imo.... now we're off to Beech Mtn, NC for 4 days... they're calling for 6-12" :D ... and 30 mph winds :eek:

I hit a little blueline closer to home and did ok. 4 bows landed, saw 3 deer (buck and 2 does), saw 2 turkeys (gobblers) and picked up 2 arrowheads - Not a bad day at all.

That's about 4 bows, 3 deer, 2 turkeys and 2 arrowheads more than you would have gotten today at the Ami. Looks like this weekend will be blown as as well.
