Caught 9, had several get off, and missed a BUNCH! I don't know what my probem was. The weather was off and on between grey cold skys and blue sunny skys. Caught 4 on a hare's ear softhackle and the other half on assorted droppers. #20 Pheasant tail, #18 disco, #18 zebra midge. Most of the fish I lost were on the droppers. It was pretty cold at times but was a great day. Only a couple of other names on the sign in sheet.

The uglier it gets, the more I want to fish. Not many folks out and I love it when it is snowing or light rain.

I'm working on the wife to let me come up and work on your section of stream. We really want to buy some property that involves some stream. My dream is to have a chunk of river around some other folks doing what you are doing. It would be fun to help you out and learn a bit about stream improvement.

I'd put my retirement up for grabs if I could find about 100 feet of decent bank property on a decent stream. It would be worth it if you had neighbors like you have who seem to be on the same page.

Any other suggestions on property up that way on rivers that may be a possibility? I just don't know much about land over in that direction.
