Got to play hooky todayand spend time with the family. So we went up to smiths for a few hours. My 7 year old daughter took her trusty old zebco, I rigged it with a perfectioin loop then 4 feet of 5x . Using a thill bobber so she would have some weight to throw it I put her on a y2k with a 16 chart. copper john dropper. in the 4 hours we fished she caught 2 in the 14 inch range and lost 2 others. Me I used a peach egg with a 18 pt dropper, I landed 4 including a nice fat 18 incher(what fun on a 2 wt) the other three were average. All in all a nice family day.
