I was supposed to fish Dukes on Saturday but now I get to go to a safety meeting on my day off:bang: . Horah!

Four hours of " Don't bend at 90 degrees from the waist to pick up a box " and "Don't run people over with the forklift"

I mean really you bust through one brick wall and yell " Hey Koolaid " and all of the sudden you're not safe. What's the deal? I don't race them any more we'd much rather Joust.

So I have two spots open for Saturday PM and they are yours.

I see Dukes is back to morning/afternoon sessions?? I was wondering when that would start again.. Weather should be perfect for Dukes fishing this weekend.. EE must have already landed a spot for Sat ;)

Just spoke with the bossman and he would like them. So if thats ok i'd like to get the spots from ya and pass it on to the man who signs my check :D

Just talked with Smithgall and they are still doing full days. March 1st they will go back to splits

I worked at one factory where we would shut everything down the last two hours of the night shift and race the little forklifts we had. You should try pickuping a six pack with one.

So let me get this straight. You made the reservation but you can't go. Now you have the right to give them away? I thought Smithgall controlled the reservations. I guess when I know someone is going up there, I can just beat them there and say I'm them?

Or maybe even better, maybe I'll make reservations for a whole day and control who fishes with me?

IMHO, I like the advantage we members here share when fishing plans fall thru at Dukes.. You have to pick a date so far in advance just to get on the water (esp. during the winter) and plans just fall thru. Your young's and new baby can change plans in a heartbeat, and if you posted that you could'nt go and if anyone here would like to slide into your spot, I see no problem with that.. I've mentioned about NGTO taking over a day there, but thats with everyone picking a date so far in advance and people booking there own slots, not one person taking 15 slots.. Only reason in doing this is the parking lot conversations, after the bus leaves your all enemy's of my fav fishing hole always ;)

I've seen people do this plently of times on this board. I can't go on Saturday so stupid me I thought lets see if someone else would like to take the reservations I made two months ago. Sorry I didn't know the rules maybe you can post them for me............

I was just trying to make a point. I've had spur of the moment kitchen passes and call up there for reservations and, as stated, find out that they are full and then see this. :bang: It's no wonder people have problems getting reservations. No harm meant Jason.

I've always heard people had pretty good luck just showing up and catching no shows slots. Jimmy's a master at this I hear ;).. I'll have to try that soon with no current slots booked up there for me. I figure worst case I fish in town or Smith's. Where's my brookie rod??... ;)

Hunt, what makes me mad is seeing the same people there every week, or atleast from what I hear. There seems to be a 16th person always on the list. Kinda like 12th(duh) man in football ;)

No foul, like I said it's taken me almost two months just to get two spots on Saturday. In fact I've called every week since sometime in December, I know how hard it is to get a reservation. Trust me if I could go on Saturday I would. If I had free baseball tickets and I couldn't go I'd give them to a friend, especially if they were hard to come by; well the only friends I have who fish (aside from the guy I was going to go with) are the folks here on the board, so I thought I'd do the same.
