Fished the DH with Fwhitaker today. By far one of the best days i've personally had. I landed thirteen, missed probably at least that many. I had a grand slam with some big fish. 18 and 17 inch bows, 15 inch brown, and yes a 15 in BROOKIE. and as the typical fish story goes, no picture. batterry died as fwhitaker was taking the picture :bang: . measured him and released him back in the honey hole. BWO, olive hares ear, and pink san jaun worm were the most popular flies for me today.

BTW, this was my first brookie, and i dont know if i'll ever catch something comparable again. but what a great first time!

Yes, I fished there Thursday. Awsome Little Black Caddis hatch. Mostly Bows.

Sounds like you had an great day. Colt and I when to the Soque for about an hour yesterday and I hung one nice fish. Before I got it in it broke my line. :bang: Just wondering if you wanted to fish Sunday after Church. I would love to go anywhere.

I can verify that 15" Brookie. Felt horrible, turned the camera on and battery died. Yet, still a great day on the river, nice hatches.
I caught 7 nothing of any real size. mostly of a Beadhead Rubber-Legged Copper John #18. When the hatch started caught a few of a EHC #18. Good times all around.
