fished morning session with some other ngtoers also .... managed 7 fish anywhere from 16-25 inches long. all rainbow .....best day there in a long time. fish were deep. so you know what to do

dukes sucked today, i think i caught 5....fished both sessions, i think endless is the only person who caught anything. Man do those fish spook easily, for the afternoon session i wore camoflauge and face paint and they culd still see me from 50 yards away. Did catch one good brown, and had a nice battle with big herman but my line got wrapped around my reel somehow and snapped my line.

A cloudy drizzly day helps to keep from being seen. You usually only get one shot at a wary fish sitting in the back of a pool on a clear sky/water day. On a day like we had this past Saturday, I was fishing section 3 last summer and spotted an "oh son" fish in the back of a pool. I got down on my hands and knees and tried to drop my fly up in front of the fish, but it heard/saw my line hit the water and darted forward into the current. The fish at Dukes will teach you about lies and the next time you go you'll be more aware of where those lies might be.
