Would like to give a report on Specs from this week. Fished three different streams over a three day period, one renovated and two wild streams. From these three different streams caught approximately 63 fish. Most of these streams were fished less than 4 hours each. They seem to be hungry right now. Only used three different flies: BH Mayfly nymph (18), Prince nymph (16 or 18), and a Black Elk Hair Caddis (16). The Caddis seemed to produce the majority of fish. Fish ranged from 3" to 7", sorry, no trophies to declare. Many of these fish were feeding off the surface. Several of the ones caught were feeding when spotted. The best holding areas were just outside the riffles in slack water and small pools. They are very skiddish and I spooked several before even getting close enough to make a cast or flip.
