Fished the Tuck and the Nan this past Thurs. & Fri.
Lots of fish and lots of fishermen on the Tuck., but had the
Nan to myself Friday.
The Tuck was all nymphs deep.
The Nan was mostly mayflies size 20 to start then size 12 both grey.

trying to make a fishing trip to the Nanty tomorrow.

thanks for the report.

Still DH? That sounds good.

Are there any places to camp up there?

Is the water still frigid?

Thanks.

Fished the Nantahala DH Sunday afternoon (thank goodness for daylight savings; go to church at 9 AM and hit the Nantahala right after lunch until 8 PM). Two friends and I had the river to ourselves. Rain showers around 2:00 ran off all the Fulton County tags. by 2:30 the sun was back out. Blue Wing Olives, March Browns, Hendricksons and midges continuously until we ran out of light. The three of us probably landed over 120 fish during the afternoon. Two in the 17", 2 lb. range. Fish were very fly specific in some runs, goofy stupid in others. Skip work and get yourself up there!

fished for about 4 hrs.

Between my friend and I we only caught 11 fish.

One nice size 15" rainbow was the highlight.

Most were caught on a peach egg pattern.

A few were caught on various dries.
