Fished up on Little River up in the park from Townsend. Got up there late Sat. Started fishing about 1:00 Sunday. I was in relax mode and didn't get up until late. I ate breakfast and went by the flyshop. I ended up catching about 20 fish total. 10 browns,9 bows, and one speck. Nothing was over about 13 inches, but all wild pretty fish. Sunday night came up a huge thunderstorm. I tried to fish Monday, but the water all looked like chocolate milk and would have been very dangerous to wade in. Even way up high in the park the water was high and fast. On the way home I was going to fish the DH on Nanty and it looked like chocolate milk also. Very nice weather Sunday and the park was beautiful . Believe it or not not many people fishing up there yet. I would highly recommend the Little River in the park this time of year. Very helpful people in Little River Outfitters in Townsend. Caught all of my fish on rainbow princes size 12 and flash back pheasant tails. No luck with dries. Saw a few rising to very small mayflies couldn't ever get close enough to see what. Size 20 adams should have worked, but it didn't.
