Yesterday was a humbling day at Dukes. Water was GIN clear and way low. Started out in Section 3 and worked up through a third of Section 2. Managed a few small bows. The afternoon, I fished Section 1. Lots of fish seen but no takers. Threw the whole flybox at them.
Kept thinking about Waters, but after reading TEE's day, I guess it was just as humbling.

Russ... I've been watching the rainfall totals during the last few weeks... there has been some rain in northeastern Gilmer, southern Fannin, southern Union, extreme northern Lumpkin (north of Water's) and White, southern Towns, and extreme southwestern Rabun... this is N. Ga's little rainforest :) ... these are the areas i'm going to concentrate on until there is more widespread rainfall.

my wednesday at dukes was worse than yours - 1 caught one 3 inch non-trout.... caught a few on the hootch in afternoon... but overall a washout....today, however, the hootch delayed harvest was very good to me. All days can't be plentiful...
