Just read a report on the Montana Troutfitters site the Salmonfly hatch is underway in the Beartrap Canyon area on the Madison. Snagged these pics from their site to show those that may never have seen a "big bug" what they look like.

As you can see, the trout really like to munch on these monsters. I'll be there the first week in July for the hatch upriver. Imagine 5-10 lb. browns on a dry fly. :p
