I spent the weekend with my wife at Vogel SP. We had a creek-side cabin, so fishing was easier than ever. Ended up getting 11 rainbows, the largest being around 11" or so. Mostly stockers, but I think I got a few natives, unless they're stocking 3"-4" trout. All came on a March Brown late Saturday or early Sunday. On my last cast of the trip, I got hung up on an overhanging branch and broke my line. It must have broken at the knot because the fly dropped off the branch and landed in the middle of the pool. Of course, it was promptly eaten by a waiting rainbow. Go figure...

Did some hiking, went to a Braves/Red Sox game, and got a dog. All told, a great weekend!

Hey Bama, I mighta seen you at that Braves game. Left field, next to the Sox bullpen. My dad's a Sox fan and so was everyone else around there. I was a lone voice of reason. Great game, but painful to watch after the 7th inning.

I went to Friday's game. I like the Braves, but being from New England, I was pulling for the visitors. I probably would have loved yesterday's game, especially the 8th :)
