Greetings, all!

I finally got a chance to fish with my little brother in Pennsylvania. We hit Cool Springs Creek in Mercer, PA. It's a DH stream, and I think it had just been stocked. The fish were stacked up in every hole. Nice fish, too... mostly in the low to mid-teens. We saw a few fish in the upper teens, and even saw a couple of golden trout...

(Naming convention may be wrong here. I would say albino trout, but I'm going with the local name). Ended up catching 2 nice rainbows, a 13"...

and a 14"...

and I had a LDR on a 17" after fighting him/her for a while. I missed another 14". All came on a 2 wt, 6x tippet and a sz 18 midge nymph dropped behind a sz 14 tung head hare's ear.

Little bro got skunked... other than a few chubs and a yellow perch. For what it's worth, on the same day I was fishing in PA, my parents were fishing the Ketchican River in Alaska (ended up with a dozen salmon each), and a friend was floating the Flathead River in MT (ended up with about 40 cutthroat). How's that for a non-Georgia report!
