Here are a few photos of the Fall Fling rod. I'm no photo wiz, so forgive the bad shots. I still need to clean the cork up a little. BTW these are rather large.

And I understand that this thing is a rocket. A real beauty that casts like a dream, and somebody is gonna carry it home with them at the Fling.

Nov. 4, at Buford Trout Hatchery.
Casting contest w/Rocket Roy, Barbeque by Gold Star (B983), silent auctions, raffles, fly tying demos, beginner fly tying lessons, lie...er, fish stories, fellowship and a general good time.

This this is one heck of a nice casting rod. It's a true 5wt. We lawn cast it at Gary's house and it was freakin nice. Handles best with the Cortland SLYK 5wt. The terms "point and shoot" came to mind. It's a little fast as far as bamboo goes. I think I'm going to attack Rocket's casting course with it at the fling. ;) I'm very pleased with the way that this rod handles.
