That fish looks pregnant with food pellets!
Nice fish! You can really see the extra big brookie mouth on a fish that size.

Yes sir. NC knows how to do the DH right. You can go up there and catch 12" to 20" fish... brookies, browns, and rainbows. A lot of them don't even look like typical hatchery fish.

That guy looks like a football! He's got more of a bass mouth than a trout...:D

A buddy of mine caught a brookie that was 24 inches last year on a sculpin pattern. Most are smaller, but there are some bigger ones. It is funny how most of these big fish don't really look like hatchery fish. The fins are usually perfect and the colors aren't pale like stockers.

Wow, what a beautiful brookie! Thats looks like a fish coming out of the Minipi watershed, not a stocked fish. Did you get a tape measure to him before release? I caught one brookie about 14 1/2 inches my first trip there this year, and I've caught a few other brookies in the 16 inch range up there over the years, but that one certainly takes the cake. Good job and thanks for posting the pic, i can never get enough fish photos!
