Hey Guys & Gals,
Just wanted to say stop by our booth at the show. We've got reps coming from Sage, Scott, Winston, St. Croix, Tibor, Lamson/Waterworks, Simms, Umpqua, and lots of others. Nearly every rod you can think of to cast and lots of reels and gear to play with. We'll also be screening Felt Soul Production's newest video starring Frank Smethurst (winner of the Fly Fishing Masters and Scott Rod Rep). The video won the Drake Magazine's Video Award this past year and is AWESOME!!!! Frank will be there as well.
Looking forward to seeing all of you again this year!
James
James,
I'm glad to see you guys back at the show. I hope the Fish Hawk and every other commercial exhibitor (being diplomatic) has an excellent show.
I hope that by slowly moving toward freshwater as the priority more folks will attend the show and it will grow even more. Being a saltwater guy at heart I don't want to abandon the saltwater folks though.
I personally promote the Atlanta show completely for selfish reasons. I love hobnobbing with other fisher-types and the information that can be learned at the show is tremendous. And the more folks that come the better the chances that the show will continue, and grow, and become even better. It's win-win for everybody as far as I am concerned.
And I don't want to drive to Charlotte. Hopefully some of those Charlotte folks will some day end up wanting to come to Atlanta.;)
And we have to do something about seeing if they can schedule the show on any other weekend than the biggest TU fundraiser of the year. That has got to be cutting into some attendance. It sure affects my Sunday after pig picking with Mr. Daniels on Saturday night in Dillard.
