Fished from 12 unitl 3pm and landed between 12-14 fish. Caught all 3-brown, brook, and rainbow. First time I've done that since June of '92 on Waters Creek. Lots of bugs coming off but stuck to nymphs. Best flies were PT's, Lightning Bug, and the best was an electric peacock colored soft hackle. Didn't carry my camera on me for some reason or another. Probably the same reason I didn't have my net?!! What was I thinking.
Landed a huge 22inch plus fish to end the day. It was awsome. I couldn't measure it because I actually got the fish to the bank and decided to make a run back to my truck 75 yards away, get the camera, and take a picture. Yeah right, like that fish would stay on that long with a slack line. I made a break for the truck and dropped my vest half way back to the truck. When I returned and lifted the rod to find the fish still on I laughed out loud. A minute or two later a gentleman walked up and had seen me running and figured I had a good fish on and offered to take a picture for me. Then I had to land the big mama jama without my net. Once I took the picture I realized I didn't have my vest still on but wanted to get the fish back in the water. Thanks to the two gentlemen from Kentucky who helped me out with the picture. It was great!
