The Dame Edna
For the recent Bass Bug fly swap, I had no clue what to tie. So I basically sat down and created a monstrosity from stuff I had laying around. My wife took one look at the bug and said it looked like that strange British celebrity named Dame Edna.
Recipe
Hook: Size 10 Streamer Hook (3X Shank) with lead wire wraps for weight
Tail: Purple Marabou with black crystal flash
Body: Rainbow Flash Tinsel Chenille
Legs: Yellow Rubber Band strips
Tying Instructions: This is tied like any standard Wooly Bugger type pattern. Make sure you tie in the rubber legs before you wrap the chenille forward.
I present to the world; The Dame Edna! Not sure if it will catch a Bass, but ya never know!
Here's the real Dame Edna:
