I have came upon 2 slpplit bamboos that one is a Wright and Magill(eagle claw?) and the other has Denver CO 1906 written in it. Can anyone tell me the story behind either rods, both are in good condition with cases.

Yes, way to little info to make any sort of comment on your rods. Please post some pics with as much detail as possible. I will say this; if you have a good condtion Wright & Mcgill bamboo fly rod, then you have one fine cane fishing pole in your posession.

Gotta love that Colorado cane!
